-Dominic Antoine Thomas
i’m tired. these past weeks have been so hectic. but God moves in ways we’d never imagine. by this time next week i’ll have more than enough money to cover the expense of printing my book. it’s about time. december 5th to january 30 to whenever. it’s frustrating. it really is. every time i took a step forward, i took 2 back. no more. i’m content with content and appearance, so as soon as i have the money, i’m making calls. i don’t know how long it will take them to print so i’m not giving any dates. better late than never, but i promise this will never happen again.

it’s difficult to separate your personal self from your public self, especially when your brand is your person. there’s a very fine line and it’s very easy to blur. antoine thomas is dominic antoine thomas. the two are the same person, not alter egos or extreme personae. [and i'm not bashing anyone who does that, what works for you, works for you!] but there are aspects of antoine thomas, the personal, that i don’t want to show in dominic antoine thomas, the public. but where is that line? when does dominic become a shell of antoine, or antoine become a shell due to dominic? confusing?
dominic antoine thomas is antoine thomas. i’m the same person. but, antoine is my personal life. if i’m with friends, i’m with family, i’m living life. [whether they call me antoine or dominic] dominic is my public life. the book signings, the politically correct, etc. but that doesn’t seem right…i’m trying to work this out…it’s funny…i’m not even famous but i’m thinking about this…maybe i’ll just alternate.

i’m listening to fellow Bison, JC Durrah’s mixtape, “Nightlight: The Prelude” (The Nightcrawler Mixtape). i’m loving it. i already told him i jam to the first track of his i’ve ever heard “You Don’t Know the Half.” he’s really talented. i mean crazy talented. i don’t do reviews, i just post what i like, but with crazy vocals, hypnotic melodies, and smooth beats, this mixtape is definitely a must-have.
check out him out: myspace.com/jcdurrah & jcdurrah.bandcamp.com.
